the first ball is kinda hard to tell but the commentators as well as the umpire are saying it was a strike. and the other team ofcourse got kinda miffed and "scary," as if they were gonna "jump out into the field." and then the second one was called a strike, again by both commentators and umpire. so the other team actually went out into the field. most of the comments in here are hinting that it was only a "ball" to the "giant men" (literally, cause they're taller than japanese players).
